As children we often like to think that everyone around us are our friends. We grow up with this concept of "BFF" (Best Friends Forever), and we form these bonds that we hope will last a lifetime. As young ladies and women, we begin to create these relationships with others that we feel is good for us. Then life happens! With combinations of differences of opinions, change in characteristics, and our own personal emotions; shifts within friendships do occur. It was once stated, "Friendship is not about who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life at the right time and said "I'm here for you and proved it." Is it possible that we are selecting friends that pacify our insecurities? Could we be surrounded by individuals that are masked enemies of our purpose? Are the very friends around you challenging you to be best version God ordained you to be?
Devotional Scripture: Proverbs 27:17- Iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.
