What's In Your Pocketbook?
As young ladies and women we strive each day to be considered gorgeous, beautiful, pretty for others to take notice. Imagery of dolls, models, commercials, advertisements, and social media all points to this concept of being a "10". Daily routines consist of using products that enhance beauty or cover flaws. We are all guilty of diets, regretting our features, or simply wishing to be as those we see on television. In many cases we sometimes compare ourselves to others or that which is popular in society. The question can be raised, Is it possible we have become more fixated with our outer appearance, rather than ensuring our minds and souls are reflections of Jesus Christ? Are we victims of exaltation of self, or victorious in knowing God is the only reason why we are who we are?
Devotional Scripture: Matthew 23:12-For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.
Queens Remember-WE are more then a pretty face; God has placed a purpose inside of each of us.
Queens Remember-WE must always keep in the forefront of our minds that our uniqueness is the key to the wholeness in the kingdom of God.
Queens Remember-WE are perfect instruments ready to be used by God.
On this day WE move past the status quo of being a pretty face, and link up to the mindset that Jesus Christ has birthed purpose within us. No longer will we compare ourselves to others, waiting for praises from those who have no control over our eternal life. WE shall remember to keep God's word hidden within our heart; so that we may not sin against God. Our soul and the word of God will be our compass of direction as we navigate through life. Always remembering that we are fearfully and wonderfully made by God, for God's glory. Therefore our pocketbooks is filled with scriptures, unlimited praise, and worship for what God is doing to us and through us!
Peace and Blessing to you! #ShineYourCrownQueens
