"The essence of storms lead to great examples of the strength in that which is being tested." This quote captures the essence of what Texas has experienced over the past three days in the example of mother nature in the form of Hurricane Harvey. Together we have experienced the turmoil of tornados, heavy rains, power outages, and high levels of flooding. Endless nights of rain with high winds have become the normal sound within the night. Yet, through the passing days of uncertainty; is it possible our FAITH is becoming stronger within each test in the storm? Could the storm be the tool for us to grow closer in our relationship with God?
Faith is trusting in God and in His promises made through Christ and the Scriptures by which humans are justified. Despite the moments of uncertainty, those moments to which all possessions were taken away through the floods, or not knowing the next move in life; remember God has each of us and will keep us if only we will trust Him.
Devotional Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6-"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
Queens Remember to never faint in the midst of the storm; God has it all under control.
Queens Remember to always allow God to be your strength and peace when you feel all hope is lost.
Queens Remember that the storm is only for a season, and with God on our side; WE have the victory.
On this day WE will not allow the storm to consume us with fear, hopelessness, and doubt. Each day that we face, the storm may seem bigger than us; yet we will rise up and declare that WE have a great God on our side. Our minds, hearts, and soul will remember that we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus. Therefore our FAITH will be our anchor and guide through whatever storm that is to come. Queens we are victorious in this season!
