Growing up it was stated numerous times, "Be seen; Not heard." On many occasions it was considered un-lady like to be loud or the constant voice in the room. To be prime and proper was considered a smile and exude cuteness while others spoke for you. As years have passed by, in many situations the voice of reason constantly combatted this ideology of being content with just being. Is it possible that our frustration must be redirected back to us do to our lack of speaking up for what is right? Are we victims of our own limitations, or victors in knowing God has equipped us with a voice and bright mind?
Today, there are plethora of campaigns affirming women's strength, knowledge, and beauty. Consequently, there is still the elephant of doubt that surrounds each of us on this journey of life. Queens and princesses, the season is upon us to stand, speak, and fight for righteousness. Be the voice of kindness, love, and peace when others speak of war and hate.
Devotional Scripture: 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."
Queens Remember-We are instruments ready to be used by God. (It's time to make some noise for God!)
Queens Remember-We are to be about our heavenly father's business. (It's time to fight the good fight!)
Queens Remember-We are to be bold for Christ. (It's time out for scary believers!)
On this day WE declare that we will not longer stand idol as our government bullies the poor, the disregarded, and the foreign. We will love one another when others teach the message of hate. Our duty is not just to wear the crowns, but live a life pleasing to God through our work before us. So I will speak, think, and work for the glory of God! Queens let's rock the mic of salvation to everyone who has an ear. It's time to speak Queens!
